IMMAF WORLD
The 2024 IMMAF World Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, marked a historic debut for the event in the country, running from November 5th to 10th, 2024.
A total of 40 gold, 40 silver, and 75 bronze medals were awarded, with Bushido’s Demi-Shaye Thomas earning a silver in the Senior Women Featherweight Division. Team SA excelled with Kiara Fegen claiming gold in the Senior Women Lightweight, and Genevieve Tuson bringing home bronze in the Junior Women Atomweight. Additionally, Coach Greg Thomas proudly served as the Head Coach for Team South Africa.
IMMAF AFRICA
The IMMAF African Championships took place from May 27 to June 1, 2024, in Windhoek, Namibia, featuring 161 athletes competing over four thrilling days.
Amidst fierce competition, Demi-Shaye Thomas triumphed, securing the gold medal in the Featherweight division and solidifying her status as a top contender on the continent.
